This past August, the Zeta Omega Chapter welcomed a new Alpha class who are ready to make their mark on ADPi at UCF! From the moment they ran home on Bid Day, our newest members have already brought so much excitement, energy, and personality to our sisterhood. We can’t wait to see all they accomplish and the memories they’ll make along the way.

We’re so excited to introduce a few of our wonderful new members and share more about the women who are shaping the future of ADPi!

Sofia

Hi!!! My name is Sofia and i’m from Tampa, Florida. I am a kinesiology major on track to become an Occupational Therapist! I absolutely love hanging out with my new sisters, trying new matcha places, and staying active. I ultimately chose ADPi because every single time I walked into the house, I felt a sense of peace and belonging i’ve never felt in my entire life! Every girl that I talked to felt like one of my best friends already. Feeling such a strong sense of belonging and love about a place that is so unfamiliar really shows how special it is and I am SO grateful everyday that I chose ADPi! The friendships I have made feel so genuine and allow me to be confidently myself every single day. With having siblings at home that I miss so much, ADPi really helps give me that home away from home feeling which is so special and it’s hard to find when you are far away. The environment is so supportive and uplifting in every aspect of life and I just can’t wait to see how else ADPi will positively impact my life!!!

Julia

Hi! My name is Julia Lipinski and i’m from Tampa, Florida! I am a health science major on the pre-clinical track with aspirations to become a Physician Assistant in the future!! I love spending time with friends, going shopping, and going on walks! The main reason I chose ADPi is because the second I walked in, I felt a sense of comfort and welcoming. ADPi felt like an home to me and I knew that was where I wanted to end up. Every conversation I had with the girls I met was so authentic and you can tell that everyone here genuinely wants to get to know you. I also could see how much love the girls had for one another. The way everyone talks so highly about one another and the chapter showed me that everyone is so supportive, caring, and inclusive. When going through recruitment that was exactly what I was looking for and I saw that in ADPi!!!

Sam

Hi! My name is Sam and I'm from Cincinnati, Ohio. I am a freshman majoring finance and I am so excited for these next 4 years! I love going on walks, pilates classes, swimming, bible studies, volunteering, and hanging out with friends! Coming from out of state, I was super worried about finding my people and a place I could call home. The moment I stepped into ADPi, I immediately could tell this place was special. All the doubt left my mind as I was so comfortable and I could easily be myself. Every girl I talked to was so welcoming and authentic. Their values went beyond just words and were displayed in how they live their lives. Seeing how they interacted and talked about one another, you could feel the warmth and genuine sisterhood even beyond just the walls of ADPi. That was something very important to me and ultimately led me to run home here. It has only been a few weeks and I already have made lifelong friendships that help me be the best version of myself! I can't wait to keep growing with and supporting my sisters through the philanthropy events, etc. throughout the year!

HazeL

Hi my name is Hazel, and I’m from Naples, FL. I’m a Psychology major and will be applying to Nursing school next semester. I love to dance, act, sing, stay active, and shop- But i’ll never say no to a girls trip or a beach day!  It’s so hard to choose what I love most about ADPi, because in truth, I love it all. Going through recruitment as a sophomore can be daunting, but from the moment I walked into ADPi it felt like home. I’d always leave with the biggest smile on my face, and it felt like I was talking to my best friends from back home. I knew without a doubt that it would be the place for me. That stands true till this day. The genuine friendships I have made have been a blessing, and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my college years making memories I’ll never forget with my favorite people. College can be a big change, and a lot can feel uncertain, but one thing I know is that I would choose ADPi over and over again if I could.  <3

Amelia

Hi!!!! My name is Amelia Lumia Leto and i’m from Tampa, Florida. I am a freshman majoring in Health Sciences Pre Clinical track. The medical program in my high school made me love the idea of helping people, specifically babies and children! I value my friendships so much which is why I chose ADPi! All of the girls in ADPi truly seemed like they not only wanted to know me, but actually be my best friend! I love pilates, sweet treats, and spending time together with friends so i’m really happy I can do all of that with my new sisters. Finding people who actually care for you and make you feel heard is so rare yet it’s exactly what ADPi gives to me!!

Kylie

Hi !! My name is Kylie and I’m from Orlando, FL. I’m a freshman and I’m majoring in Elementary Education. I have a job that involves working with kids, and it inspired me to become a teacher because I  love having a positive impact on them.  I also love staying active by doing Pilates, going on a run, or just walking with my friends! Something I’m most excited for are the football games and getting all dressed up with my sisters!

The reason why I chose ADPi was because everyone was so sweet and welcoming. I knew that I just found my second home and couldn’t wait to meet new friends!

Emerson

Hi, my name is Emerson! I'm from Jupiter, Florida, and I'm a BFA Acting major. I love songwriting, the beach, and staying busy! I chose ADPi because there was never a moment where I didn't feel welcomed or like I had to hold myself back from being myself. I remember during recruitment how excited I was to walk through those doors and connect with more of the sisters. They were all so kindhearted, and their bond as a sisterhood felt like a genuine family. I couldn't be more grateful and lucky to be a part of this sisterhood, and I'm so excited to see what this future year brings with ADPi!

Addison

Hi! My name is Addie and I’m from Fort Lauderdale, Fl. I am in business pre-marketing and on track to end in sales. I love going to get food with my friends, do fun workout classes, and read. This semester I’m so excited for the football games and all the new experiences I’ll get with the sorority! I chose ADPI because I instantly connected with the girls. Hearing about their experiences and having so much in common really connected me to the girls. ADPI is such a strong community of women that come together to love and support each other and since joining I’ve felt that and more!
