Since 1979, Alpha Delta Pi has partnered with Ronald McDonald House Charities to provide “a home away from home” for families with children who are in need of medical attention. As a whole, Alpha Delta Pi has helped raise more than $13 million for its international philanthropy.
Here at the Zeta Omega chapter, we are honored with the privilege of sponsoring a room at each of the Central Florida Ronald McDonald houses. Our sisters remain actively involved with the houses year-round, from helping with the upkeep of the houses to spending time with the guests and preparing homemade meals for the families who are staying there.
Each spring, Zeta Omega chapter looks forward to hosting its annual Lion Share Challenge philanthropy event, Cheers for Charity — a cheer and dance competition open to all campus organizations. Paired with our Lion King Fraternity competition, a variety of Greek chapters, athletic teams, and campus organizations come together to raise money for the Ronald McDonald Houses of Central Florida.
The Zeta Omega chapter recognizes the importance of giving back to the University of Central Florida, as well as the local community. Numerous sisters are involved in charity organizations around the community and on campus, and many of sisters hold positions on executive committees for these organizations. Sisters can be found volunteering for and directing Knight-thon, Relay For Life, and Pack To Attack, to name just a few.
