This semester, we have four graduating seniors, and we cannot wait to see all that they achieve in the next chapter of their lives! We will be spotlighting each senior to learn more about their ADPi experience, favorite memories, and the advice they have for their sisters as they prepare to graduate. Now, let's spotlight these incredible women and all they’ve contributed to our chapter!

Madeline Lucyshyn

"Hi! I’m an out-of-state student from Nashville and was nervous about coming to UCF on my own. I had a lot of fun during recruitment, but I still took some time to come out of my shell after joining ADPi (even though I loved it)! During my first semester, I met my best friend who helped me feel more comfortable here and inspired me to branch out and make more friends. Being part of ADPi’s meal plan also helped; you’re looking at the ‘24 Meal Plan Princess! If I could give my freshman-year self any advice, it would be to put myself out there as much as possible, because everyone’s here to meet new people. I’m so excited to stay in Orlando after graduation, work as an auditor for EY, and keep surrounding myself with the amazing friends I’ve made during my time at UCF."

Grace Mccaw

"Alpha Delta Pi has truly shaped not only my college experience, but who I am. I'm so lucky to have made my best memories surrounded by my best friends. These past 3.5 years have flown by, and it feels surreal knowing this chapter is coming to an end. Running home as AC '22 was the best decision of my life. Four years ago, I was scared to leave everything familiar behind, but joining ADPi gave me everything I didn't know I needed. I'm so grateful for every memory and even more scared to imagine life without my sisters just two minutes away.

At UCF I was a Marketing major on the Professional Selling Track with an Event Management Minor. This January, I’ll be starting my sales career at Gartner as a Sales Development Associate in Fort Myers! I owe so much of where I am today to the leadership experiences and the love and support from my best friends in this chapter."

Araceli Wakefield

"Hi! My name is Araceli Wakefield, and I’m a Finance major at the University of Central Florida graduating in December 2025. After graduation I’ll be attending the University of Tampa to pursue my Master of Science in Finance. It’s hard to believe how quickly these four years have gone by. Alpha Delta Pi have given me some of the best memories and friendships I could ever ask for. I’ve met people who have truly changed my life and who I know will be lifelong friends. I’m so thankful for every moment and every experience that shaped who I am today. My biggest advice is to step out of your comfort zone because that’s where you’ll find the most growth and unforgettable memories."

Sydney Everett

"I came to UCF knowing no one, and after a freshman year feeling unfulfilled in my involvement, I wanted to try out Greek life.

It’s so crazy to think about the chain reaction from a decision that all started a little more than two years ago. From being a new member of ADPi, running home and having no idea what I was getting myself into, to leading the chapter with our executive board and running our finances. ADPi taught me how to be a leader, how to be a good friend, and grew my mindset into a strong woman.

Graduating early this Fall, I can’t believe my time here has come to an end. I am graduating with my Bachelors of Science in Accounting. A degree I owe to my closest friends Grace and Madeline who have helped me through every stress cry, networking event, and exam week, who have driven me academically through ADPi.

I am excited to say I am now pursuing a Masters in Accounting, with plans to take my CPA exams in the next year, and starting as a full time auditor in 2027.

My journey in ADPi had been imperfect and ultimately bittersweet. Yes, graduation is a very real thing, but there is something special in saying goodbye, acknowledging this feeling because I have been given so much by this chapter to wish I just had more time. My best advice would to savor your time: never stop putting yourself out there to grow, and always treat everything with a smile and your most positive self. Knowing I am an ADPi witnessing this sororities 174 years of friendship, is so beautiful. All good things come to an end, but I am eternally grateful to be given the opportunity to experience this chapter, and to know I have these sisters for life🤍"
